Skills to develop Verb To-be
OBJECTIVE
To use and understand the verb To-be correctly and its conjugation with each of
the personal pronouns in the present simple.
VIRTUAL AREA

The topic of the class will be the verb TO-BE which is the most used verb in the
English language. This means in Spanish "to be or this"

Its function is primarily as a verb mainly, it is irregular and it is also used as an


auxiliary verb. This works with the personal pronouns (I, you, he, she, it, we,
you they) being conjugated through structure:

Subject + Verb + Complement (In the present simple)


It is conjugated as follows:

I am
You are
He/she/ it is
We are
You are
They are

Example:
I am a Nurse
We are students

Warm-up (activity) level

I will share a link in which students will draw someone in their life and they will
say the personal pronoun that corresponds to that person.
Presentation (activity)

I will give all students the welcome to class again and it will appear in the
screen word with the verb To-Be and I will explain everything that has to be
with it.

Practice (activity)

I am going to roll a virtual dice and each student will have a number, the
number the dice take the student will have to be conjugate in the verb To-Be
Evaluation (activity)
This subject will be evaluated as follows:
1. Students elaborate 20 sentences using the verb TO-BE of the present
simple, they will have 30 minutes to carry out.

2. students make diagrams embodied (Power point) there an example for each
personal pronoun, where they will conjugate it with the verb TO-BE
(They will have 20 minutes).
3. Each student will expose what is reflected on the cardboard, where the
understanding of the subject will be evaluated and how it unfolds before it.
Instruments: Slides (will have 5 minutes).
