Create a presentation of
24-30 screens
Directions:
• You can use a combination of journal pages,
drawings, process photos and experiments in a range
of media
• Create a presentation of 24 – 30 slides, these should
cover criteria A, B, C and D (25% for each criteria)
• Use Arial font – minimum size 12
• Use PowerPoint
Notes:
• Have a balance of text and visuals
• Layout is considered, attractive and interesting
• Language is appropriate and accurate - Art
terminology is used.
• Artists’ names and movements are spelled correctly.
• Images and sources are correctly referenced

• Start by explaining what your idea is for your artwork. Explain clearly
the CONNECTION with the Statement of Inquiry.
• Why did you choose and develop this idea? Is there a personal
CONNECTION?
• Describe which Art Movement and artwork that you have
researched. What ideas have you taken from this style of art?
• Describe WHAT you intend to make. Give a description of size, colour,
texture, form (2D/ 3D), composition, art materials and equipment.
• Explain your plan of how you will make this in the timescale. What
problems do you think that you will face and how will you solve
them?
• What MESSAGE will you try to send to your audience?

• The subject matter (It must include a portrait of a …)
• The meaning of the artwork (It must reflect the theme of
Interconnectedness through Time & Space)
• Influenced by an Art movement (It must celebrate an Art movement from
past)
• Artist inspiration (It must be influenced by one or more artists)

• Scale
• The colour scheme (Bright/ cold/warm/ dark)
• What FORMAL ELEMENTS will it include (texture/ tone/ shape/ colour)
• Composition
• Feasibility in the timescale – taking into account the deadline
