    Prinsip kerja JTR
     TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry)
    2.4GHz
     Dapat mengirimkan sinyal High
    frequency electromagnetic pulses yang
    dapat merambat sepanjang kabel baja
    atau batang baja dengan kecepatan
    cahaya
     Ketika high frequency pulse ini
    mengenai permukaan materi yang
    akan diuji maka terjadi pemantulan
    pulse (echo wave) ke pulse
    transmission device sepanjang jalur
    yang telah ditempuh sebelumnya.
     Dengan menghitung perbedaan waktu
    antara transmitted pulse dan reflected
    pulse, maka ketinggian level cairan
    dapat dihitung.
