NAME: Ulot River DESCRIPTION: the longest river in Samar, the third largest island in the Philippines it also
one of the beautiful tourist spot in Paranas where the people’s organization called
TORPEDO is managing.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC: The river and the TORPEDO are a livelihood of the locality. Through the many tourists
that visits the “Ulot River” it boosted the Economy of the locality.

NAME: Philippine Eagle DESCRIPTION: this is also known as the monkey-eating eagle or great Philippine
eagle, is a critically endangered species of eagle of the family Accipitridae which is
endemic to forests in the Philippines

June 15, 1856, by the British explorer John Whitehead.
