1. History of Badminton
Badminton began in India with a game called Poona.
Then the British brought it to England, changed its
name, and boom! Now it is a sport that is even played in
the Olympics.
2. Basic rules of Badminton
Playing badminton is something like tennis but cooler. You can play
one against one or in teams of two. You have to pass the shuttlecock
over the net and try to make it fall into the other's court without them
being able to return it. If you make it, point for you! And you cannot
touch the net with the racket or with your body, that is prohibited.
3. Necessary equipment

You need a racket, which is

lighter than a tennis racket,
and a shuttlecock, which can
be made of feather or
synthetic. It is also important
to wear appropriate shoes to
avoid slipping and to have a
better grip.
4. Game strategies

The strategy depends on

whether you play alone or in
doubles. You can be
defensive, waiting for the
other's mistake, or attack
with everything you have.
The important thing is to
keep your eye on the wheel
and surprise the other player.
4. Fundamental techniques
and shots

There are several shots like

the clear, which is when you
send the shuttlecock very far
to the back of the opponent's
field; the drop, which is subtle
and falls just after the net;
and the smash, which is
super powerful and goes
down like lightning. It is my
favorite!
6. Health benefits

Playing badminton is great

because you run a lot and
that helps you stay fit. It
improves your endurance,
agility and even makes you
faster with your reflexes.
Plus, it's fun and you can
play with your friends.
7. Bibliography
