THE CHAIN RULE RULE
The chain rule is applicable for functions which are a little complex than what we are
solving previously, say a function raised to a certain value. For example, we have a
differentiable function and any integer n as exponent, the equation becomes:
The derivative of this function can be solved by applying Power Rule. Recall that the
formula for that is . Since the quantity involved is the function , the derivative will also
be considered. This value is multiplied into the output of the Power Rule:
