INTRODUCTION
Navigating the transition from adolescence to young
adulthood is challenging, especially for senior high
school students. They face academic pressures,
social expectations, and other responsibilities that
can impact their academic performance.
Understanding their lived experiences with stress
and coping strategies is crucial for providing
effective support. Research shows that most
adolescents use defense mechanisms to reduce
stress, but these often provide only temporary relief.
Factors like parental expectations and academic
pressures contribute to their stress. Despite facing
these challenges, students employ various coping
strategies, such as prayer and maintaining control
over their situations.
INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
According to a study
conducted by Yousif M, et
al. 2022 examining stress
among students. Most
participants (92%)
experienced academic
stress, with levels ranging
from low (4.3%), moderate
(73.2%), to high (22.5%).
