 Y - Y (Star – Star) connection


 Y - ∆ (Star – Delta) connection
 ∆ - Y (Delta – Star) connection
 ∆ - ∆ (Delta – Delta) connection

If the load is balanced

In Y-Y-connected system
Problem: The phase sequence of the Y- connected generator in Fig. is ABC.
a. Find the phase angles and .
b. Find the magnitude of the line voltages.
c. Find the line currents.
d. Verify that, since the load is balanced, IN =0.
Y - ∆ (Star – Delta) connection
