SUPINE POSITION
(Recumbent position)

• Person lies straight on the back with face directed upward.

PRONE POSITION

• Person lies straight on the abdomen and with face directed


downward. E.g. examine posterior trunk, spine, rectum. , surgeries of
back, prevent pressure sore (relive pressure.)
