The shape of the mountain is a five-domed calcareous outlier more than 1140 m long and
560 m wide, along the base, elongated from west to east. The height of Sulaiman-Too is
1175 m above sea level, 175 m above the city, length 2 km, width 250 m, there are 5
peaks, the highest of which is Rushan-Tag. Buura-Tag or Sulaiman-Too is the peak that
gave the name to the entire mountain and numerous caves. On the mountain site there is a
single-chamber Takht-i-Sulaiman mosque or “Babur’s house”, an epigraphic monument of
the 11th century. The most notable ones are Shor-Tag (“white salt top”), which received its
name because of the white cap of efflorescence, Eer-Tag is a saddle-shaped peak, which is
why it is translated as “mountain-saddle”, Kattama-Tag (“layered mountain”) and
Keklikuchar (“peak , where chukars fly"). Until XVI Suleiman, the mountain bore the
name Bara-Kuh.

stretching from west to east between the Alai and Trans-Alai ranges for 150 km. Width

Abshyr-Ata

■ In the Abshir-Sai valley, 70 km from the city of Osh, there is the amazing Abshir-Ata
waterfall. The valley lies at an altitude of 1500-2500 m above sea level. To get to the
waterfall through the gorge, you need to walk about 3 km from the mouth of the river
flowing along the bottom of the gorge. As a result, an amazing picture will open before
your eyes: from a hole with a diameter of 1.5 m at a height of 12-15 m from the ground,
a turbulent stream of water flows down a steep cliff.
