Presentation of Idea
The Idea

 A stop motion short film inspired by my experimental media production.

 2 minutes.
Why?

 I enjoyed making my EMP.

 I can improve upon mistakes I made last time.
 There is still more I can do with this idea – Narrative Structure.
The Concept

 A conflict between two types of snakes.

 A Romeo and Juliet inspired love story.
Proposed Research Sources

 Surveys and Questionnaires. E.g for deciding on music and how to do dialogue.
 Watching stop motion animation videos (e.g Distortion).
 More research into Dragonframe.
Equipment

 Rostrum camera.
 Plasticine to make the snakes.
 Possibly doll house furniture.
Software

 Dragonframe – Program used for stop motion animation.

 Edit using Premier.
 Sounds from Freesounds.com.
Skills

 Using a Rostrum camera with Dragonframe.

 Sculpting the snakes using plasticine.
 Editing using Premier.
 Scriptwriting.
 Time-management.
Target Audience

 Children (8-12) – not too violent.

 Families.
 Hopefully engaging and interesting enough for all audiences to enjoy.
