ABSTRACT
 Agrobot is an autonomous robot that performs the farming techniques and will
help farmers in the farming land. This robot will be controlled by
Microcontroller (89S52) that will perform the farming processes such as seed
sowing, drilling, sprayer, weeding. This new way of farming in which robots
will be used to overcome all those problems that occurs in traditional farming.
This Agrobot is also designed in such a way that it can perform all the farming
processes on its own with consuming low man power and increasing the
productivity rate. The main advantage of using this autonomous farming robot is
that it not only increases the productivity but also check the environmental
conditions like humidity, wetness of soil etc. This approach of developing the
robot (the smarter machine) will going to change the old methods of farming and
taking this agriculture field into a new world.
INTRODUCTION
 Agriculture is the backbone of economic system of a specified country standard
techniques of farming rely on man power and old procedures such as the
application of synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and genetically
changed creatures. To carry out similar task with efficiency we make use of
agricultural robotics.
 Robotics is influencing our lives in many fields some of which are
Manufacturing, Education, Healthcare, Personal Technology, etc. Robotics is
also impacting the agriculture field and this can have a considerable impact on the
farm produce especially since agriculture plays an important role for the Indian
economy. Farmers today can benefit from the technological advancements.
 Automation can help in boosting the efficiency of the various processes involved
right from sowing to harvesting the crops.
 Agrobots can spot the existence of diseases, weeds, insect, infestations and other
stress circumstances. Agrobots are lightweight.
 Agricultural Robot can be controlled by Remote which is helpful for the farmers
livelihood. The Remote controller is used to monitor Agrobot.
 Applying automation to agriculture has helped create several advancements to the
industry while helping farmers to save money and time.
 The robot is capable of performing various operations seed sowing, sprayer,
drilling, weeding.

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
1. “Automatic detection and smart herbicide spray robot for corn fields”
(G.Sowmya,J.Srikanth,IJSETR,2017)
This paper designs and develops a robot to detect weed in corn crop, by making
use of image processing. The advantages of this project is time saving as it
detects the beets with the help of a camera and the herbicides are sprayed on the
infected crop, saves the farmers from the tedious work.
2. “AGROBOT: Seed Sowing and Irrigation Farming Machine”
(Shubham SagarSharma,IJAR,2017)
This structure has a vehicle operated ATMEGA328 microcontroller which acts
as the master operator. It performs four functions such as ploughing, seeding and
harvesting of crops and irrigation. solar panels are made used in order to
recharge the batteries. The robot moves automatically if the length and the width
of the field is provided. the aim of this system is to help farmers with good yield
of crops and to minimize the usage of non-renewable sources.
REVIEW OF LITERATURE
3. “Smart farming using AGRIBOT”
(K.Gowthami,K.Greeshama,N.Supraja,IJAER,2019)
This paper offers a system which performs the seeding process in the agricultural field. The main
idea behind this development is to perform agricultural tasks without human intervention and to
implement a prototype of an effective low cost agribot. This project is based on a wireless
communication by making use of Arduino and Bluetooth.
4. “IOT Enabled Pesticide Sprayer with security system by using solar energy”
(Amaresh.A, M.Anagha G Rao, Fennaz Afreen, Moditha.N,IJERT,2020)
This paper brings froth the information about the implementation of agricultural robot through
an android application. this robot is used for spraying of pesticides with the help of solar
powered pumping system. The movement of the robot betwixt the crops is monitored by the
farmer with the help of android application. If there's an invader in the field then the robot
captures the image of the invader and sends it to the farmer. This robot can be used to during the
COVID sanitization for spraying of sanitizer.

PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION STATEMENT
 Farmers face a lot of problems in agriculture right from nature’s activities to man-
made activities including climate change, soil erosion, biodiversity loss,
increased demand for water etc.
 Providing food for the increasing populations of the country
 Farmers are not able to earn respectable eranings
 Nowadays, farmers are spending more amount on machinery to reduce the
labour. But they have to be operated manually to complete the task.
ADDRESS TO PROBLEM STATEMENT
 In this paper, Agribot is developed using new Technologies such as IoT and
Machine Learning. These features make this robot unique and novel.
 In robot control, robot sprays the pesticides to control the attack of
pests.
 Robot is able to sow the seeds of different sizes with high precision. It
also ensures the precise spacing between the seeds.
 A seed drilling is a device used in agriculture that sows seeds for crops by
positioning them in the soil and burying them to a specific depth,
ensuring that the seeds are covered by soil.
 Weeding is the removal of weeds from the field. It is an effective pre-
harvesting method of crop protection and crop production management.

ADVANTAGES

 Agricultural robot does not get sick or tired and not need time off.
 They are small in size.
 They are also capable of moving, spraying pesticides, and performing mechanical
weeding.
 Agricultural robot may have cameras and sensors which detect weeds and other
forms of stress.
 This sensors are used to spray only the area affected by the parasite instead of the
entire crop.
 This has helped to protect our environment by reducing the amount of haemful
chemicals released in the air.
 Continuous 24/7 operations
APPLICATIONS

 Crop Seeding
 Fertilizing and Irrigation
 Crop Weeding and Spraying
 Environmental Monitoring
 Soil Analysis
 Weed Control
 Harvesting
CONCLUSION

An autonomous multi-purpose agricultural robot is designed to play out the intri-

cate cultivating undertakings like seed sowing, weed cutting and pesticide
spraying. The benefits of robot are reduced human intervention and efficient
resources utiliza- tion such as the solar energy and also decreased human mediation
and proficient assets use. The activities are performed utilizing android application.
Creative seed sowing, pesticide sprayer and weed cutting hardware has huge impact
in agribusiness. For a non-technical farmer, Machine learning model helps to find
the suitable crop for their fields. Camera module helps to monitor the field remotely.
With the help of sensor data and IoT, farmer can monitor the environmental
conditions of the field. By using the advanced technolo- gies and automation in
agriculture farmers can save more time and human efforts.
