FTTH Transmission Distance Extension

• In FTTH network solution deployment the transmission distance is restricted because of the EPON/GPON
technology. With central deployment of large capacity OLT in large scale, the biggest challenge is
transmission distance from OLT to Splitter may over the technology restriction, while carriers demand
solution for best using space, saving electricity resource, deployment cost and fully use advantage of easy
deployment at PON side.
