PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
WHAT IS PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE?
In terms of terms, tenses are verb forms that show the time of an activity or event with the time
of the event in the past (Past), present (Present) and future (Future). In English, sentences cannot be
separated from tense. Verbs in sentences can change because they are influenced by the time and nature
of the event.
Present Continuous Tense is one of the tenses in English. Present is the present or shows the
tense of an event or action that is happening at a certain time. In daily conversation, the present
continuous tense is often used because it involves activities that are being carried out such as working,
studying, reading and eating. It is common in English to use “to be” and its formulas when indicating a
tense sentence.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
