A. Graphical Elements Circle: It represents the continuous responsibility and accountability of the agency to lessen the hazards and possibility of disaster. Natural and Man-Made Elements: These elements represent the challenges, risk factors, hazards, and vulnerabilities either natural, man-made, or combination of both that people in Bislig City are exposed to. Shield: It represents the protection against the adverse effects of disasters and the preventive measures undertaken by the agency to lessen the effect of both natural and man-made disasters. Sun: It represents hope and the ability of the people in Bislig to bounce back after a disaster. Book: It represents the increased awareness and understanding on disaster preparedness, thus, making them better prepared and away from harm in times of disaster. House: It represents a safer Bislig City. People: These represent the people in Bislig- both men and women of different ages coming from different sectors and different geographically defined areas. Hands: The set of hands represent the effective and coordinated humanitarian assistance & disaster response of the agency to save lives and protect the more vulnerable groups in Bislig during and immediately after the disaster. It also implies community empowerment and shared responsibilities. B. Color

Green represents the following: o prevention and mitigation o care for the environment o sustainability o the official color of Bislig City Blue represents: o preparedness o safety o calmness and right set of mind needed during and after the disaster Red represents: o emergency status and immediate response o alertness of the agency to respond to the needs of the affected populace Yellow represents: o rehabilitation and recovery o hope to recover from the damages caused by the disaster o increased strength and capacity of the people to bounce back after the disaster
