SINSP. ERCHEL D. GATAL

Bureau of Fire Protection – Plaridel Station
Province of Misamis Occidental

Dear SINSP Gatal,

Good Day!

Fast and structured patient management is crucial for a patient’s outcome. In order to manage common
emergencies, every local government employee should possess basic knowledge of emergency care and
the skills necessary for dealing with these situations. Adequate education in first aid and basic life support
should be considered as an essential part of every government employee training.

Basic Life Support (BLS) training shall equip the participants with knowledge and skill that will enable
them to act and save people’s lives in case of emergencies. In addition to the physical skills necessary for
providing BLS care to those in need, the training shall also develop the critical thinking and problem
solving skills of the participants to deliver the best care possible and improve patient outcomes.

In line with this, the undersigned would like to respectfully request the Bureau of Fire Protection –
Plaridel Station to assist the personnel of the Plaridel Community Hospital in cleaning the Plaridel
Evacuation Center (at the back of the Legislative Building) through a Flushing Operation on September
7, 2022, Wednesday at 4 PM in preparation for the PCH Basic Life Support Training on September 8,
2022.

This appeal comes with hope for your positive outlook and favourable response.

Thank you and more power!

Yours truly,

DR. JOCELYN L. PALIONAY

OIC Chief of Hospital
