A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 3KVA ONLINE
UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY FOR THE PLARIDEL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
SYSMEX HAEMATOLOGY AUTOMATED ANALYSER LABORATORY MACHINE
WHEREAS, with the current situation of the municipality of Plaridel, wherein frequent
unannounced power interruptions occur, the operations of the Plaridel Community Hospital has
been greatly affected;
WHEREAS, the operations of the Plaridel Community Hospital, most especially the
Laboratory facilities where machines amounting to millions of pesos are at a great risk of
occurring damages due to the continuing power outages;

WHEREAS, the current uninterruptible power supply unit (UPS) of the PCH Laboratory
do not have the capacity to fulfill peak demands resulting in outages that have impacted the
operations of the hospital;

WHEREAS, the current UPS unit needs to be replaced with a single, large, expandable
unit immediately as an emergency measure to ensure that hospital services are uninterrupted;
WHEREAS, on motion of SB Member Gerald G. Tatad, duly seconded by Vice Mayor
Neite O. Gornez and SB Member Myra L. Pluma, it was
RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF A 3KVA
ONLINE UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY FOR THE PLARIDEL COMMUNITY
HOSPITAL LABORATORY MACHINE
RESOLVED FINALLY, that a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to the
Sangguniang Bayan Office, Dr. Jocelyn L. Palionay, PCH OIC Chief of Hospital, Ms. Maria M.
Uba, Municipal Treasurer, other offices, departments and agencies concerned for their
information, guidance and reference.
