A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALICIA RAMA-TY

TO ENTER AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH TECHNICAL
EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (TESDA) – PROVINCIAL
TRAINING CENTER, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL REPRESENTED BY ITS DIRECTOR
GENERAL, ISIDRO S. LAPEÑA FOR THE CONTINUITY OF EXPLORING AND
DEVELOPING MECHANISMS AND SYSTEMS THAT WILL ALLOW THE
INTERFACE BETWEEN TESDA-PTC, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL AND LGU-
PLARIDEL MUNICIPAL AGRICULTURE OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF
PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, Presented to this Body for appropriate action, is the request of the
Local Chief Executive, for the approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor,
Alicia Rama-Ty to enter and sign the Memorandum of Agreement with Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – Provincial Training Center,
Misamis Occidental represented by its Director General, Isidro S. Lapeña for the
continuity of exploring and developing mechanisms and systems that will allow the
interface between TESDA-PTC, Misamis Occidental and LGU-Plaridel Municipal
Agriculture Office in the Municipality of Plaridel, Province of Misamis Occidental;

WHEREAS, Section 22 (a) (5) and (c) of the Implementing Rules and
Regulations of the Local Government Code states that a Local Government Unit as a
corporation shall have the power to enter into contracts provided that it is authorized by
the Local Sanggunian;

WHEREAS, Upon scrutiny of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), this Boy

finds the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement in order and within the bounds
of law;

WHEREAS, This program requires the Municipal Government to receive the

counterpart and issues official receipt as proof of the transaction made, designate a
focal person who will ensure the implementation in accordance with the action plan of
the program and collaborate and nurtures good working relationship with TESDA-
Provincial Training Center-Misamis Occidental;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SB Member Lucita M. Aviles, duly seconded by

SB Member Algelyn B. Paradiang, the Sangguniang Bayan Members –

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVES, TO AUTHORIZE THE MUNICIPAL

MAYOR, ALICIA RAMA-TY TO ENTER AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT WITH TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY (TESDA) – PROVINCIAL TRAINING CENTER, MISAMIS
OCCIDENTAL REPRESENTED BY ITS DIRECTOR GENERAL, ISIDRO S. LAPEÑA
FOR THE CONTINUITY OF EXPLORING AND DEVELOPING MECHANISMS AND
SYSTEMS THAT WILL ALLOW THE INTERFACE BETWEEN TESDA-PTC,
MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL AND MUNICIPAL AGRICULTURE OFFICE IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to Secretary

Isidro S. Lapeña, PhD., CSEE, TESDA-Director General, Eulogio P. Sullano, Jr., PhD,
TESDA–-PTC, Misamis Occidental Administrator, the Municipal Mayor’s Office, the
Municipal Agriculture Office, and all concerned offices for their information and
guidance.
