INVITATION TO BID FOR Catering Services

1. The Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School, District III, Division of Cadiz City
through the 2019 MOOE intends to apply the sum of Php 31, 200.00 being the approved budget
for the contract (Year-End and Mid-Year-In-Service Training Meals and Snacks). Bids received in
excess of the meals and snacks shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School, District III, Division of Cadiz City through the
2019 MOOE intends to apply the sum of Php 12, 000.00 for Mid-Year- In-Service Training Meals
and Snacks 001, Php 16, 800.00 for Mid-Year-In-Service Training 002 and Professional Meeting
on July 2019 Php 2, 400.00 meals and snacks 003 being approved budget for the contract
(Year-end , Mid-Year In-Service Training and Professional Meeting on July 2019) to payments
under the contract of each lot items. Bids received in excess of the Year-end, Mid-Year In-
Service Training and Professional Meeting meals and snacks for each lot shall be automatically
rejected at bid opening.

2. The Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School, District III, Division of Cadiz City now
invites bids for catering services on meal and snacks. Delivery of the goods is required on May
27-31, 2019, October 19-25, 2019 and 1 day Professional Meeting on July 2019. Bidders
should have completed, within May 21-25, 2019 from the date of submission and receipt of
bids, a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the
bidding documents.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with relevant procedures for open competitive
bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the
Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) or Public Act (RA) 9184 otherwise known as the
government procurement report act “with some amendments, as stated in this bidding
documents and is open to all bidders form the eligible source. The contract shall be awarded to
the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during post –
qualification.
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary
School and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during September 25,
2019, 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on September
20-26, 2019 from the address below Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School, Purok Zone 6

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on September
21-25, 2019 from the address below Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School, Purok Zone 6
Brgy. Magsaysay, Cadiz City Negros Occidental and upon payment of the applicable fee for the
bidding documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by the GPPB1 , in the amount of
31, 200.00.

6. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government
Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) {[insert and the website of the Procuring Entity, as
applicable]} provided that Bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not
later than the submission of their bids.

7. The VPMES will hold a Pre-Bid Conference2 on September 25, 2019, 9:00AM at the City
Library Cadiz City, which shall be open to prospective bidders.

8. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before
September 26, 2019 9AM. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 1,
000. 00 in [insert the acceptable form].

10. The Vicente Patricio Memorial Elementary School reserves the right to accept or reject
any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award,
in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to
the affected bidder or bidders.

Bid opening shall be on September 26, 2019 9AM at Principal’s Office of VPMES, Brgy.
Magsaysay Cadiz City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who
choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
