Lowden Young Guitarist of the Year 2014

To celebrate the 40
th
anniversary of the Lowden Guitar, George Lowden Guitars are
delighted to introduce the Young Guitarist of the Year 2014 competition.
George Lowden has been designing and making his acoustic guitars in Ireland since
1974 and exporting them worldwide since 1981. A growing team of craftsmen,
including 2 of his sons, work under his direct supervision building Lowden guitars by
hand in Downpatrick, Co Down.
Making a Lowden requires a passionate commitment to no compromise. This
commitment is something we will look for in the eventual winner of the competition.
