 INTRODUCTION

This application is in the line of magnificent Indian cultural

depth in performing arts which aims in bringing the
convenience of stage show booking to our office or home
through internet. People with cultural inclination can choose
the show timing and quantity of tickets and can buy tickets
online easily. An e-ticket will be generated which can be used
as gate pass. Show organizers can put up the information about
their shows through this portal avoiding high advertising cost.
 PRODUCT SCOPE
Deviantminds is for those People who are culturally inclined
and want to watch a live performance. It will help them to
reserve ticket in a hassle free manner from their convenient
place without queuing.

They will get all relevant information (timing , venue ,

duration etc) regarding events and can elect to buy tickets
online. An e-ticket will be generated that they can use as gate
pass.
Show organizers can put up the information about their
shows through this portal. They would have to register
themselves for informing about their shows by filling up a
simple form. Their shows will then be put up for customers to
buy tickets online.

USER REGISTRATION &
LOGIN
Users register themselves by filling in details like
name, loginid , password, email, mobile number
and type of user i.e. customer or show organizer.

After registering themselves they can log in with

their loginid and password.
Show organizer will register themselves and their
shows.
Administrator does not need to register himself.
Administrator id and password are provided by
the system.
Event Registration & ticket
booking
Event organizers register their shows by filling up a
simple form where they give details of their show
such as event name, event description , event date,
time, duration, ticket price, name, address , phone
number and capacity of the venue.
Customers can select a show from a list of shows .
They enter the quantity of tickets needed and can
buy tickets using bank draft number.
After booking a show a ticket is generated in pdf
format that they can print and use as gate pass.
Implementation of MVC
MVC is a design concept that attempts to separate an
application into three different parts. These are
Model - The model represents the part of an
application that actually does the work and models
the real-world problem that the application
attempts to solve.
View -The view is the representation of the model
that the user can see and interact with.
Controller - The controller is the part of the
application that responds to commands from the
user, deciding how the model should be changed or
retrieved and which View should be displayed. The
controller is implemented as a servlet.
