Agenda Item 1. Seerah Course a. Classes to be held every Tuesday, 6pm at KLT3 b. First two sessions will be 2 hour long and afterwards 1 hour each

Movie Screening a. Mooz-lum will be screened on Wednesday, the 5th of October, 6pm at KLT3

Meetings a. Room booked for every Thursdays at 6pm for meetings, general or otherwise.

Scholars a. Need to bring scholars to deliver lectures. Topics to be suggested and finalised. Atif already spoken to two scholars. Atif contact scholars with date, times, topics and costs

FOSIS Flyers a. FOSIS flyers given out.

FemSoc debate a. Further to FemSocs email regarding a debate on womens hijab, the President of the FemSoc will be invited to the next meeting to confirm details about the debate. Atif invite FemSoc president to a meeting to confirm details of the debate

7.

Arabic classes a. Due to a high demand for Arabic classes, ISoc will try to arrange some for those interested. Need to contact volunteers who are willing to teach. Nahida to contact sister Nada

Communication a. An interactive facebook group to be created where everyone can share ideas outside of meetings. Atif to setup facebook group for discussion

9.

Charity Week a. Charity Week planned to be held during the last week of October but need to check with the various departments in regards to reading week. b. ISoc will be working with One Charity Week for this project and the money raised will be donated to Islamic Relief. To find out as much info as possible about Islamic Relief and their cause to help promote the event. c. This year we plan to make the charity week a campus wide event by getting other societies involved. Yesser and Sarah are the charity week officers. The idea of an event per society was suggested. Contact other societies to help promote charity week events, by sending out emails to their mailing lists, etc. To contact RAG (Raise and Give) for help and support. To advertise the events on University media such as INQUIRE, and CSR.

Yesser and Sarah Contact other societies inviting them to participate. Yesser and Sarah Arrange volunteer meeting and delegate tasks as soon as possible to get organised. Atif to contact RAG Everyone to think of at least one idea for Charity Week by next meeting.

10. Debate Night a. Debate night suggested. There was some interest. Topic will be finalised based on voting which will take place at the meetings. Everyone - come up with topics for debate nights.
