Arithmetic Mean, Average:

Arithmetic average is the sum of all of the numbers in a list divided by the number of items in that list. For example: The mean of the numbers 2, 3, 7 is 4 since 2+3+7 = 12 and 12 divided by 3 [there are three numbers] is 4.

Percent error formula:

Percent Error is the difference between the theoretical value and the experimental one divided by the theoretical value and the result is multiplied by 100. The percent error can be positive or negative.
