MONTHLY SERVICE EVENTS: Sunrise Assisted Living o We will be volunteering at Sunrise of George Mason during the 1st week

Our duties will include interacting with the residents of the nursing home as well as assisting in/facilitating activities for the patients as assigned by the Program Director (Lynette Prince). Location: 4300 George Mason Blvd. Fairfax, VA 22030 Days & Times: Monday from 12:00PM-6:00PM Friday from 3:00PM-7:00PM Dates: (Oct 29/Nov 2), (Nov 26/Nov 30) Points: This service activity requires a two-hour time commitment. Therefore a total of 2 points will be awarded, one point for each hour.

Boys and Girls Club of Fairfax o We will be volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club of Fairfax the 3rd week of each month. In this role we will be assisting with after school programs as assigned by the Program Director (Ron Diokno). You will be expected to interact with children and serve as a positive role model/mentor figure. Location: 5901 Leesburg Pike Falls Church, VA 22041 Days & Times: Monday from 12:00PM-6:00PM Friday from 3:00PM-7:00PM Dates: (Nov. 12/Nov. 16), (Dec. 3/Dec. 7) Points: With this event you may volunteer for ONE 2 hour shift and ONE 3 hour shift. The maximum points for this service activity is 5 points per member.

Baileys Crossroads Homeless Shelter o At each general body meeting we will be making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to donate to the Baileys Crossroads Homeless Shelter. Location: Northern Neck Multi-Purpose Room Days and Times: Every other Sunday during our General Body Meetings. Dates: (Nov 4, Nov 18, Dec 2, Dec 16)

HOLIDAY SERVICE EVENTS: During the course of the semester we will be making holiday cards for each of the following organizations/institutions: o October: Halloween Cards INOVA Childrens Hospital o November: Thanksgiving Cards Sunrise Assisted Living Nursing Home o December: Christmas Cards Afghanistan Soldiers (Holiday Mail For Heroes)
