55+ Group Annual Thanksgiving Outing

After the Burning of our Mortgage

What is Next for the Building Fund? Saturday, October 13 we had a celebration which we burned our first mortgage. By the way of history, in June 1999 the Church borrowed $815,000 to construct Fellowship Hall. The mortgage was 16 years and was scheduled to be paid off in June 2015. Through our faithfulness and good stewardship and, of course, Gods blessing we were able to pay off the mortgage nearly three years early, saving a substantial amount in interest. Sunday School
Jr. and Sr. High // 11 a.m. 12 p.m. Sunday School Classes meet in the youth room. All students are invited to participate.

Tuesdays Kids After-School Program


November 13 // 3:45 5 p.m. This program meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at the church for students in 1st - 5th grades. Registration is required. Pick-up is available from East Stroudsburg Elementary, Resica Elementary and JM Hill schools. We are in need of a driver to include Stroudsburg Middle and aides to make this a success. Sunday Youth Program


Meets weekly from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the church for games, hangout time, praise and worship, a message, and small group discussion time.

Thursday After-School Programs


2:45 5 p.m. - JAM Church vans will pickup 6th, 7th & 8th grade students from JTL, Stroudsburg Middle and Jr. High. Jam is a time of fun, and fellowship. Permission forms are needed to participate. 5-6 p.m. - Fellowship Meal 6th 12th grade students are welcome to hang out with friends and meet new people while sharing a free meal together. 6-7:30 p.m. - Small Group Bible Studies Do you want to take your spiritual growth to the next level? Then join a bible study group. Classes are available for Jr. High girls, Jr. High boys and Sr. High students.

Childrens Ministry would appreciate snack items for our various programs (no nut products please). Items may be placed in the bin below the Childrens Ministry Bulletin Board.

5th Quarter After-Football Party


Friday, October 26 & November 2 // 10 11:45 p.m. We are offering an alcohol free, drug free, safe environment for East Stroudsburg South and Stroudsburg students to hang out with friends, play games and have free pizza following home games. This is an opportunity for students to invite friends and make them feel welcome.

Stephen Ministry
When you see people who are sad, lonely, or grief-stricken, dont just tell them you care show them you care! Ask how they are, listen to what they have to say, share the love of Jesus. If their need is great, encourage them to consider Stephen Ministry as a way to receive the transforming love and care of Jesus. Show them you care, and you can make a real difference in their life. Peggy Strack is our Stephen Leader Referral Coordinator. If you or someone you know could benefit from the care of a Stephen Minister, please contact her at 421-3280.
