    This year, Argus Leader Media has selected the Teddy Bear Den as the beneficiary of the 2012 Lend-a-Hand campaign. The goal of the Teddy Bear Den is simple: to help young moms have a healthy pregnancy and provide the basics to those children during the first 15 months of their lives. Everything that the Teddy Bear Den provides to a young family from clothing to bottles to bedding and beyond is new, either donated or provided at deep discounts by local companies.

    The goal is $100,000 this holiday season. And, because Argus Leader Media takes care of the administrative costs, all your tax-deductable donations go straight to the Teddy Bear Den. The Argus Leader has already donated $5,000 to the 2012 Lend-a-Hand campaign. We are confident that the goal will be easily met by the generosity of area residents and businesses you. Lend-a-Hand, now in its 15th year, is Argus Leader Medias annual holiday season fundraising campaign.
