Already well established in the European market and recently launched in New Zealand, CTC is a trusted supplier of pilots to our expanding list of global airline partners through our European and NZ routes. CTC Wings India aims to provide you with an NZ CAA Commercial Pilots Licence & Multi Engine Instrument Rating - (CPL MEIR) with theoretical knowledge training to Airline Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) level.

Theoretical Knowledge (TK) Training to NZCAA PPL level and PPL flying
TK training to cover Private Pilots Licence (PPL) relevant subjects. Preceding the PPL flying programme, the ground school is delivered using a combination of tutor-led lectures and CTCs state-of-the-art Computer Based Training (CBT). Single-engine flying where basic general handling skills are honed to PPL Level.

Theoretical Knowledge Training to NZCAA CPL level and CPL flying


SingleTK training to whereCPL relevant subjects. Theoretical Knowledge Training to NZCAA IR level and IR flying


ATPL TK training to cover IR relevant subjects. Applied instrument flying on the DA42 where you will fly in controlled airspace with other commercial aircraft in preparation for your Instrument Rating skills test.

Your Pilot training


vertical Integration From day one you will find yourself absorbed in an airline focused training environment where you will be coached to achieve the high standards expected within an airline. Whenever possible, you will do things the airline way ensuring the transition from training to operating with your future airline is as seamless as possible. This concept is what we at CTC refer to as VI Vertical Integration. technical training Your training will take place in New Zealand at our Crew Training Centre Hamilton, on the North Island. New Zealand is an awesome place to learn to fly and, as a country, offers some amazing cultures to discover during your time there. Our integrated approach to gaining a CPL MEIR incorporates theoretical and practical training as well as testing - all in one continuous course. Integrated programmes, compared to the modular route, are generally considered to be the preferred training approach by potential employers. The course consists of theory training in all relevant aviation subjects integrated with the practical flying delivery. The theory and flying programme is scheduled in a structured way to ensure continuity of training and progressive steps designed to quickly improve the pilot skills being developed. Course length 65 weeks Single-engine flying 182.6 hours Multi-engine flying 20.0 hours Simulator flying 28.7 hours Ground Theory Training and briefings 600 hours These flying hours meet all CAA NZ requirements for the issue of a CPL and MEIR. They will also meet the requirements for a CPL and MEIR as set by the Indian DGCA. Non technical Skills training Learning to be an airline pilot is not just about technical knowledge and ability. The multi-crew environment you will ultimately be flying in requires effective non-technical skills as well as technical aptitude. We work together to enhance your interpersonal and communication skills, professional attitude and self awareness in order to develop a safety first attitude and culture. the Fleet After you have completed the basics on one of our single-engine aircraft, you will progress onto our industry-leading twin, the DA42, which - with its Garmin 1000 flight deck and fully computerised engine management system (FADEC) - efficiently prepares you for the type of new generation Boeing or Airbus you are likely to fly in the future. Intermediate and Advanced training Subject to placement opportunities in the future in India, you may then wish to progress further through CTCs worldrenowned Airline Qualification Course (AQC) which incorporates the Multi Crew Cooperation course (MCC). Having completed the AQC course you can move forward with confidence into your type rating with an airline. CTC will endeavour to facilitate this on your behalf. In turn, we commit to ensuring we deliver the highest quality, airline focused training we will also do our best to facilitate your progression into the airlines. Places are only available to applicants who meet our strict criteria and pass a stringent selection process.

Prior to commencing training you will be required to complete a medical examination for your NZ visa application and achieve a NZ CAA Class 1 Medical certificate. Additionally you will need to ensure that you meet the Indian Medical requirements. Although these tests can be carried out by any medical practitioner, we recommend that you get yours done by a Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Medical Examiner.

Step three This stage of our selection process involves an interview with your selection team, which also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the programme. Note: Steps Two and Three are normally carried out on the same day.

Finance
One of our objectives with CTC Wings is to develop training programmes for aspiring airline pilots that will effectively prepare them for their future flying career by delivering high quality yet cost-effective, airline orientated training. Do you have the potential?


To qualify you must: be at least 18 years of age on the date of application hold a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.5 have completed 10+2 years of formal education with English language medium of instruction for your qualifying examination and a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and Physics You will be required to gain a NZ visa prior to commencing your training with us. Steps to success
Step one Simply apply on line at www.ctcwings.com and select India. Your application will then be thoroughly screened to ensure your suitability. Step two If we think you are a suitable applicant, we will invite you to take part in an assessment day during which we will test your aptitude using the worlds leading pilot aptitude testing system. Numerical ability will also be examined and we will ask you to take part in some group activities to evaluate your interpersonal team skills.
