The title for this magazine has a cracked effect within the title; this gives the audience an impression that loud music has caused this to happen. Of which teenagers (our target audience) would appeal to this type of font as they enjoy loud music from parties and clubs. This title is a jet black colour, which will appeal to teenagers and youth tribes as they enjoy darkness and the unknown giving

Life is loud is a quote that teenagers could relate to. They like to play loud music; this creates a clubbing atmosphere. This pink font contrasts against the black title to make it stand out. Although pink is stereotypically a feminine colour, it does not suggest that this magazine is only targeting women.

Rock stars who changed your world this gives the audience an impression that rock stars and other musicians must have a great impact and influence on their lives. It also supports the theory of youth tribes and that teens copy the image of other celebrities, which has changed their lifestyle to fit into the world of a rock star.

When Billy-Jo Armstrong leans into this position for the front cover shot, he shows his tattoo. This makes him individual; he is also going against the norm of society by inking words/ symbols onto his body which connotes him as a rebellion. This will appeal to many teens as they are stereotypically known to rebel against the norms and values of society (eg: underage drinking)
