Side Cutting Pliers

Pliers are the tools that are used mainly for cutting, bending and some more operations like the compression. The side cutting pliers mainly consist of the pair of metals that are joined at a point called the fulcrum. The fulcrum point is so placed that it is near to one end making the shorter side and the other the longer side. The longer side is mainly for holding the side cutting pliers. The shorter side is used for cutting and bending operation. This kind of arrangement is made because of a particular purpose. This offers a mechanical advantage where in the user can apply the force needed for cutting and the force is acted in precise position. The jaws of the side cutting pliers are mainly used for manipulating very small objects that which cannot be manipulated with fingers. There are many types of pliers that can be used for many purposes.

Needle-nose pliers

Needle-nose pliers (also known as long-nose pliers, pinchnose pliers, or snipe-nose pliers) are both cutting and gripping pliers used by electricians and other tradesmen to bend, re-position and cut wire. Their namesake long gripping nose provides excellent control and reach for fine work in small or crowded electrical, while cutting edges nearer the pliers' joint provide "one-tool" convenience. Given their long shape, they are useful for reaching into cavities where cables (or other materials) have become stuck or unreachable to fingers or other means. They are often in toolboxes alongside Hammers and screwdrivers.

Flat Head Screwdriver

A flat-head screwdriver is a hand held tool used by carpenters and is designed to tighten and loosen screws. A typical hand screwdriver has a cylindrical shaped handle to be held by a hand, and an axial fixed to the handle, the tip of which is shaped to fit a certain type of screw. The handle and shaft allow the screwdriver to be positioned and supported and when rotated, to apply pressure. A screwdriver amplifies the hands turning to the small, specialty designed tip that is inserted into the screws head. To safely use a screwdriver, insert the screwdriver tip into the screw head and turn the handle clockwise, applying pressure on the handle to hold the tip firmly in the head. Continue turning the screwdriver firmly, making sure the screw remains straight as it enters the material. Make sure your hand is away from the screw in case the screwdriver slips off the screw head. To loosen a screw, insert the screwdriver tip into the screw head and turn counter clockwise, applying pressure on the handle.

Philips Head Screwdriver

Phillips screwdrivers come in several standard sizes, ranging from tiny "jewelers" to those used for automobile frame assembly, or #00 to #3 respectively. This number is usually stamped onto the shank (shaft) or handle for identification. Each bit size can fit a range of screw sizes, more or less well. Each Phillips screwdriver size also has a related shank diameter.

Multimeter

A multimeter or a multitester, also known as a VOM (Volt-Ohm meter), is an electronic measuring instrument that combines several measurement functions in one unit. A typical multimeter would include basic features such as the ability to measure voltage, current, and resistance. Multimeters may use analog or digital circuitsanalog multimeters (AMM) and digital multimeters (often abbreviated DMM or DVOM.) Analog instruments are usually based on a micro ammeter whose pointer moves over a scale calibrated for all the different measurements that can be made. Digital instruments usually display digits, but may display a bar of a length proportional to the quantity being measured. Digital multimeters have all but replaced analog moving coil multimeters in most situations. Analog multimeters are still manufactured but by few manufacturers. A multimeter can be a hand-held device useful for basic fault finding and field service work, or a bench instrument which can measure to a very high degree of accuracy. They can be used to troubleshoot electrical problems in a wide array of industrial and household devices such as electronic equipment, motor controls, domestic appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems.

Hex Driver

A hex screw drive uses six-sided fastener heads. The fastener is known as a hex head cap screw. It can be turned with an adjustable wrench, combination wrench, and 6- or 12-point sockets. The hex drive is better than square drive for locations where surrounding obstacles limit wrenching access, because smaller wrench-swing arcs can still successfully rotate the fastener.

Torx Screwdriver

A torx screwdriver is a very commonly used tool. Most people havent heard of them because they are used mainly in smaller electronics like computers and phones. Some of the time a torx screwdriver may be used in a vehicle. A torx screwdriver has a 6 point star shaped pattern.

Tweezers

Tweezers are tools used for picking up objects too small to be easily handled with the human hands. They are probably derived from tongs, pincers, or scissors-like pliers used to grab or hold hot objects since the dawn of recorded history. In a scientific or medical context they are normally referred to as forceps. Tweezers make use of two third-class levers connected at one fixed end (the fulcrum point of each lever), with the pincers at the others.

Flashlight

A mechanically powered flashlight is a flashlight that is powered by electricity generated by the muscle power of the user, so it does not need replacement of batteries, or recharging from an electrical source. There are several types which use different operating mechanisms. They use different motions to generate the required power; such as squeezing a handle, winding a crank, or shaking the flashlight itself. These flashlights can also be

distinguished by the technique used to store the energy: a spring, a capacitor. a flywheel, a battery or

Soldering Pencil

A soldering pencil is a device used with solder to join two or more pieces of metal to each other. This type of soldering is typically done for small metallic items or electrical components where precise work at a smaller scale may be required. Larger work, such as construction work or connecting large pieces of metal together, is typically done using a welding torch and welding the pieces together. A soldering pencil is fairly similar to a soldering gun, which may be more common, but is usually smaller and slimmer, with a finer point for more delicate or detailed soldering work.

Parts Retriever

Parts Retriever, also known as a Pearl-Catcher, is a useful tool in the world of computers and is essential to a computer technician's toolkit.

Loopback Adapter

The Microsoft Loopback Adapter installs and functions like a physical network card although it is merely software. When no physical network cards are installed, it provides networkdependent software the tools needed to operate, tools that Windows makes available only when a network card is detected. And just like physical network cards, settings can be changed to make the Microsoft Loopback Adapter the primary adapter on the computer.
