English Teachers

English: At the beginning of the year two teachers, Yelena from New York and Elle from Washington DC came to teach English. They teach in small groups. We have 3 English teachers: Jessica, Jacqueline, and Emma.

1. Where are you from? Yelena:I am from New York City Elle: I am from Washington, D.C. 2. What classes do you teach? Yelena: I teach 5th and 6th grade English. Elle: I teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. 3. Which song and singer do you like? Yelena: I really like Green Day. I like all of their songs. Elle: I like Lights by Ellie Goulding. 4. What is your favorite food? Yelena: I really like shakshouka. Elle: I love sushi.

Events of the month


Tu Bishvat Festival On Friday January 25th 2013 there was a ceremony for Tu Bishvat. We had a Seder for each class. We ate dried fruit and planted trees in the school Tu Bishvat is the new year of the trees. On Tu Bishvat we eat dried fruit. We also plant new trees and sing songs. At seven oclock all of the children leave their homes with their families to plant trees. We plant trees to help the environment and keep it beautiful. PLANT A TREE FOR TU BISHVAT!!! Election Elections were held on Tuesday, January 22 2013. The candidates for Prime Minister are: Benjamin Netanyahu, Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid, Shelly Yechimovich, Tzipi Livni, Aryeh Deri, Zahava Gal and Shaul Mofaz.
