The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institutes High School Latino Leaders in D.C. program provides Latino high school students the opportunity to spend a week in Washington, D.C., exploring the city and the role it plays in our nations past, present, and future. Travel, lodging, meals and activities will all be covered through the support of State Farm Insurance Companies and CHCI.

In order to apply, students from the DC area must: Currently reside in the District of Columbia; Montgomery or Prince Georges Counties in Maryland; or Alexandria City or Arlington and Fairfax Counties in Virginia

Additional Eligibility Requirements: Be a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student Demonstrate interest in learning more about civic engagement
