    Bible Verse: Psalm 133:1 Due: March 12 Math: *We learned about polygons and took time to create them with straws and twist-ties. *Identified spheres, cylinders, and rectangular prisms *Students are encouraged to continue to bring in shapes for our shape museum. We are in a need of more pyramids. *Unit 7 math test is on Thursday. Reading: No spelling test week! High Frequency Words: grew, house, knew would Skill: Make inferences Phonics: r-controlled vowel ar Science: We started our unit on balance and motion. Students tried to balance different objects in many ways. We discovered that counterweights can help balance an object.

    Notes *Please let me know if your conference time does not work. *Dr. Albrights orthodontist office came for a visit to celebrate dental month. We had a great time going around seven different centers to learn about taking care of our teeth. *Please let me know if you have any ideas about guest speakers to share about different countries. We can also Skype the families if you have friends still living overseas.
