Bible: We started studying the story of Abraham. We learned how Abraham and Sarah obeyed God and how God kept his promises. Bible Verse- Luke 2:8-11 Due: December 19 Math: *Introduced reading temperatures to the nearest two degrees. *Practiced measuring and comparing lengths using nonstandard units. Reading: High Frequency Words: all, put, show, together, under, want Skill: Retell Phonics: Digraphs th, sh, -ng *Please look on our class wiki and have your child go on the websites for kids section. There is a website that focuses on sight words. Writing: We practiced writing friendly letters. We learned about the five parts that are needed in writing a letter. Reminders *Due to the emergency weather days; we will now have school on February 18 and April 2. *There will be light refreshments after the Christmas program on December 7. We are asking families to bring one dozen cookies to share if they are able to. Please send them in Friday morning so we are able to set up before the program. Thank you! *Our school is participating in a toy drive for children in New York. More information will come out next week.
