The teacher reminds parents that the classroom can get warm in the spring and asks students to dress in layers. He also reminds them to return field trip forms and payment by April 22nd, and that inability to pay will not prevent anyone from attending. Bs Newsflash in a dash Parent Highlight (04/15/13)
Dear Parents, It is always refreshing to see the spring season bring with it weather that warms both bodies and spirits. Your students may have told you that our room does a very good job of warming our bodiessometimes too good! With the large windows in my room, the temperatures during the transition period between winter and spring can be a little grueling until the temperature is adjusted in our building. Please help your students dress in layers that can be removed as the temperature may start out as chilly in the morning, but get rather warm in our room during mid afternoon. Finally, a reminder to please return fieldtrip permission slips and payment by April 22 nd. If payment is prohibitive, please contact me as soon as possiblewe will NEVER leave anyone behind due to inability to pay for our field trip. Have a fantastic week! Language Arts: This week we are reading Horace and Morris, but Mostly Dolores. Our skill of focus is authors purpose. Math: Miss Boedeker will continue to teach time. Her current focus is elapsed time. Science: Miss Boedeker has been teaching about forms of energy. She is currently focusing on heat energy. Writing: Students will write another argument piece while continuing to utilize pronouns. From, Ryan P. Berardi, M.Ed.
