ALMOND LACE COOKIES

all-purpose flour salt sugar butter heavy cream or sour cream sliced almonds

Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Set aside. Melt butter and cream together in a sauce pan, then stir in dry ingredients and nuts. Cook over low heat until bubbly (about five minutes). Remove from heat, stir 30 seconds, drop onto greased cookie sheet 4 apart. Bake at 375 for five minutes. Cool slightly before moving off cookie sheet or quickly shape as for tuiles.
