Programs covered by the SSMRV Rotaract club in the year 2008-09 SSMRV rotaract club is recognized by Rotary International. We visited boys observation home at Madivala and celebrated republic day. We visited mithra jothi blind home at HSR layout. Our rotaractors recorded few Kannada and English text books in audio CDs cassettes etc and edited the pre recorded CDs and cassettes. We visited the conference on Domestic violence organized by Rotary club. We had an opportunity to meet Kiran Bedi who was dynamic IPS officer. Our club organized election awareness program which educated the slum residents about there role in elections and there precious voting power, which had taken place in J.P nagar slum.
