April 22, 2013 Greetings! To celebrate Earth Day (April 22, 2013), the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), in cooperation with The Refuge Of Potential Artists (TROPA), will be commencing a Summer Logo-making Contest open to all those who choose to join. The mechanics are as follows: a.) The logo shall be meant for the school's YES-O club and, as such, will have the NAMES OF BOTH THE ORGANIZATION AND THE SCHOOL in the design; b.) the logo shall have a design relating to Science and the environment and c.) the design of the logo shall, in no way whatsoever, be directly copied from another existing logo. The design will be judged based on the following: 10% Effort 20% Relevance to the Theme 20% Symbolism 20% Originality 30% Craftsmanship Deadline for submission will be on May 5, 2013. For 8th Grade Students, entries will be submitted to Batch Representative Joey Sabaria. For 3rd Year Students, entries will be submitted to Batch Representative Christine Agua.
