Dear Sir Jim,


Good day! I am writing this letter to express my interest for the upcoming Foundation Day in
our beloved school, and to submit a proposal regarding to the activities for the event.
Herewith attached is the list of the proposed activities.Hoping that you merit the attention
of my propose activities.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR FOUNDATION 2022-2023

First Day
Morning (6am – 12pm)
5:30 am ASSEMBLY
6:30 to 7:30 am Color Fun Run
Mechanics
PARTICIPANTS: Open for all grade 11 and grade 12.
ASSEMBLY AREA: In front of I S School
UNIFORM: White Shirt and P.E jogging pants, rubber shoes, BIB NUMBER
All participants must wear the comfortable jogging pants and rubber
shoes on the day of the activity. The bib number should be pinned on
the chest area. NO UNIFORM, NO NUMBER, NO RUN.

ROUTE/RUN: 3K approximate – from I S School going to municipality hall going back


to I S School.
Teachers will be present along the route to guide the runners on the
official run route.
See you at the starting Line!

8:00 am to 11:00 am Cook-off Showdown (Salad)


Mechanics
1. THE COMPETITION The challenge is to prepare Gourmet Filipino a la carte dishes which
will highlight the use of local green leafy vegetables as the main ingredients.
2. A limited time of three (3) hours broken down into segments is allocated for the entire
competition.
3. All competitors are requested to wear proper cooking attire. Each team must bring at
least three (3) plain white kitchen towels.
4. All preparation and cooking of dishes, including garnishes, must be entirely made and
crafted on the spot. A team who brings in any cooked item will be disqualified. Before the
competition starts, each working area will be checked by the committee to ensure that no
item (e.g., food and beverage) has been brought in.
5. Every team should prepare two plates for each dish – one for display and another one to
be served to the judges for tasting.
6. One team will be declared as Grand Winners. Teams who will garner top scores in the
different categories shall also be recognized.
Criteria for Judging
 Taste and Nutritional Value (40%) - The dish should be nutritionally well balanced and
must emphasize Philippine taste
 Visual appeal (30%) - Contrast of plating and design
 Originality and Creativity (20%) - Recipes are not copied from magazines, cook books, or
other contests
 Overall Presentation (10%) – Appetizer and main course shall complement the flavors,
taste, and styles of each other
Afternoon (1pm – 5pm)
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Academic Competition (impromptu portrait)

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Content and Relevance to the theme - 50%
Originality, Creativity and Neatness - 50%

Second Day
Morning (8 am to 11 am)
Pageant (Recycle Gown) per strand
Mechanics
1. Open for all Students.
2. The participants may look for ideas in the internet but the design and output must be
original.
3. The contestant may use paints, glue, glitters and other materials available BUT the
main material that will be recycled should only be found inside their home or in the
backyard.
4. Each contestant is requested to record the recycling process through time lapse
mode for about 2-3 minutes respectively.
5. The advisers of each section will submit the video and picture of the entry on or
before (date)
