“FIRST (1st) BEC’s ARC FESTIVAL (ARKO) COMPETITION”

Theme: “Growing stronger, moving deeper, sharing the gift of spirit and
strengthening the faith to Mary.”

I. GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS:

A. STRUCTURE/DESIGNS (Minimum of 18 ft. Tall and 12 ft. Wide)

1. DURABILITY - The Structure must be built for longevity and future use.

2. CREATIVITY - Design must be original, innovative and no copycat.

3. SAFETY AND SECURITY - The structure must build with strong
foundation that can withstand from any untoward incident cause by nature or
manmade.
4. EXPENSES - If possible, do not spend and or minimal expenses is
highly encouraging for the building of the arc, that is why recycled and
indigenous materials is strictly enforced to utilize.
5. ARC - Must contain the image of the Our Lady of Assumption at
the Center.

B. MATERIALS TO BU USED:

1. 80% indigenous materials and 20% recycled and other materials.

2. Recycled material except plastics
3. Grown/Artificial Ornamental Plants and Flowers
4. Lights components must be for outdoors use
5. Paints / Varnish
II. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

50% CREATIVITY OF ARC (Lights & Innovativeness)

25% CONCEPT OF THE ARC
25% DURABILITY & THE USE RECYCLED & INDIGENOUS & OTHER
MATERIALS.
100% TOTAL

III. PRIZES:

1ST PRIZE - PHP 5,000.00

2ND PRIZE - PHP 3,000.00
3RD PRIZE - PHP 2,000.00

CONSOLATION - PHP 1,000.00

MOST LIGHTED ARC - PHP 1,000.00
MOST CREATIVE & INNOVATIVE ARC - PHP 1,000.00

Mechanics:
Secure Bingo Card/s at the office of the
Parish Secretary. Only Bingo Card/s that is
duly signed by the Parish Priest with the
official seal of Our Lady of Assumption
Parish attached at the back are considered
valid. Or look for the Parish Secretary & or
convent staff to avail the Bingo Cards.
Winning Bingo Card/s must be surrendered
to the organizing team upon claiming your
prize.
In the case of 2 winners in a draw:
In appliances/grocery items draw- pick the
highest number.
In cash prize draw- divide the cash prize to
the number of winners.
Card/s can be played up to the final
round/set of the Bingo Games.
