Parol Making Contest

Objective

To promote the importance of environment preservation by


showcasing community creativity and ingenious craftmanship.
Guidelines and Mechanics
1.The participants will compete by per SRTAND and SECTION.
2. Original design (Based on Your Strand Concept).
3. Made of recycled and indigenous materials.
4. Size is no less than a foot in diameter and no greater than 2ft across.
5. Must be colorful but will not use any commercial paint. Optional: battery operated
lightning and movable decorations.
6. Must be capable of being hung or maybe propped up on a pole that can be carried.
7. Entries must be in for display by 1:00pm on December 8, 2023 at per STRAND
ROOMS.
8. THREE (3) top entries will be declared winners.
9. Final Judging will be on December 18, 2023
10.Announce of winner by December 18, 2023

Creativity/Originality – 45% Contest will receive the
Workmanship – 25% following.
Symbolism – 15%
Earth Friendly – 15% 1st Place Php. 700

Objective

Foster unity and shared creativity within the school community by encouraging students
from diverse academic and TVL strands to collaboratively blend the essence of Christmas
with elements representing their specific strands, resulting in a visually captivating
Christmas tree display using environmentally friendly materials.
Guidelines and Mechanics
1. The participants will compete PER STRAND.
2. The Christmas tree should be ORIGINAL and representing the CHARACTERISTICS or elements specific to your
strand.
3. Must be made of recycle and indigenous materials
4. Must be colorful but will not use any commercial paint. Optional: battery operated lightning and movable
decorations. Ensure all lights are safe and properly installed
5. The Christmas tree size must be 3FT in height
6. Participants must ensure that the Christmas tree is kept in good condition and can withstand weathered harsh
condition
7. Entries must be in for display by 1:00pm on December 8, 2023 at their designated places.
8. Final judging will he on December 18, 2023
9. Announcement of winners will be on December 18, 2023
10. Three (3] top entries will be declared winners
11. Cash prize and certificate will be awarded on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Cash prize are as follows:
