SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST

Food Security:
Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger by 2030
Objectives:
1. Increase awareness of food security in schools and their communities;
2. Showcase the artistic ability and talent of Grades 7 students in slogan making
contest, while promoting food security;
3. Encourage involvement of students in the United Nation Month.

Mechanics:
1. The contest is open to all Grade 7 students of Ismael Mathay Sr. HS.
2. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
3. It must be in Filipino language using a maximum of 15 words and should be
original.
4. Entries should have the participants’ complete name and section.
5. Participants should provide the following:
a. 1/8 Illustration board
b. Pentel pen or white board marker
c. Coloring materials
6. The slogan must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme of the AP Month
Celebration: “Food Security: Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero
Hunger by 2030”
7. The slogan will be judged according to the following criteria:
Concept Message 30%
Originality 30%
Creativity 30%
Neatness 10%
100%
8. The participants with the three highest average scores shall be awarded as First
Place, Second Place, and Third Place respectively. The winners shall receive
medals and certificates.
9. The judges shall not be related in any way to any of the participants. Their
decision shall be final and irrevocable.
10. The contest will be held on October 19, 2023, 8:00 AM at AVR.
