*Court appointed special advocates (CASA) of Anne Arundel Co. are trained volunteers who are appointed by judges to help abused and neglected children find loving, permanent homes. CASAs serve as officers of the court, develop lasting relationships with their children, prepare reports and make recommendations to the judge regarding the best interests of the children whom they are appointed.
