Meeting Scheduled Tuesday August 20, 2013 6:15 to 7:15 Current Month Events: Forms and Fees August 22nd 3:00 to 6:00 (Amy) PTO table: (new parent, forms and fees, open house) o Committee Sign-up o Spirit Wear o Sign-up for the Ice Cream Social o Sign-up for Fundraiser o Poster For Fall Fundraiser New Family Dessert August 22nd 6:30 to 7:00 (Sara) o 100-130 estimated attendance o posters o email Lisa newsletter o opening activity (name tag) o PTO table at event o Marla to translate Next Month Events (Planning): *Vote on hard copy of student directory (Amy) *PTO paper reorder task assign (Sally) Fall fundraiser cookie dough: (Sally: Update from Kristin) - we are hoping to have some samples available to the parents for the open house -kick off will hopefully be the first week of October with delivery in mid November so that families have their products by the holidays - cookie samples for all of the students and teachers for the kick off -Savory Foods will provide cash prizes for the students($250 based on last years numbers that we can divide however we see fit) The cookie lady suggested for the first 10 items sold, the child would get their name in the drawing one time, then for each additional 5 items sold they would get their name put in again. -possibly a pizza party for the top selling classroom? -$13 per container(approximately a $6.50 profit per container) -also sell popcorn products and chocolate covered pretzels in addition to over 15 kinds of cookies and lava cakes -all of the products are truly delicious and they have sold great for us in the past( we made over $10,000 last year on this fundraiser!) Ice Cream Social (Sally) o Set the date: Friday September 20th or 27th ?? (Note on other activities: Junior Football teams play their games on Saturdays. So if we are thinking a Friday for the Ice Cream Social that may be doable. I do know the Waukesha West Poms Clinic is on October 4.
