    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    I am requesting funding for Linn County Sheriff's Office equipment in fiscal year 2010.

    The entity to receive funding for this project is:


    Linn County Sheriff's Office
    1860 County Home Road
    Marion, Iowa 52302

    The funding would be used for the purchase of Mobile Data Computers (MDC) for patrol
    vehicles; mobile dispatch and integrated Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) systems; and a
    Pictometry interface.

    I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.
