Game Day Expectations

Ride the bus to and from away games, unless prior arranged Give up your cellphone as you board the bus, to eliminate distractions and foster team bonding (will be returned after game) Dress according to team vote (School Pride/Dressed up) Sit with your teammates if you are waiting to play. Listen to the coaches. There are no coaches in the bleachers. Focus on the game, not the crowd. If you look into the bleachers and communicate with someone you will be removed from the game. Sprint into and out of the game. Hand towel to the person you are going in for. Accept the referees calls. They are humans as well. They will make mistakes. Never speak to an official unless you are the captain. Turn in your game uniform after the game is over

Practice Expectations
You are expected at every scheduled practice, on time, and prepared to work hard for 2 hours You are expected to be 100% focused on basketball during practice time o No Cellphones o No significant others o No distractions If you miss a practice, there will be a playing time penalty If you repeatedly miss practice, you may be subject to removal from the team. If you are late, your teammates will pay a penalty as a reminder to you Practice is where we get better as a team. If you are not at practice, you are not improving your skills, while your teammates are. It is impossible to play someone who does not practice with the team. You must be coachable and willing to accept constructive criticism. Negative body language will not be tolerated Wear a practice jersey every day. You will be required to wear a Black T Shirt under your Practice Jersey Sprint everywhere. DO NOT WALK. Play to the whistle, then stop, look, and listen.

Team Rule:

If your actions are detrimental to you or the team, you will suffer a consequence, which may involve removal from the team.

I agree to abide by the conditions and terms set forth. I understand that not fulfilling these conditions and obligations will be met with consequences.
