One will devote themselves to the study of the Vedas, the Science of polity and all traditions, to the ascertainment of the truth contained therein as well as their application to practice, and to the maintenance of their rank, power, dignity and happiness. One is free from envy or passion and held in high esteem for their courage and prowess; they are clever, skillful, mighty, wealthy, and gratefully remember the kindness done to them. A Khadga is also a sword. Exchange between the 2nd and 9th is highly desirable for knowledge and a good name. Kusuma blossom Yoga: Venus in an angle, the Moon in a trine with a benefic, Saturn in the 10th, and a fixed lagna. One will be a king or equal to one, charitable, enjoying pleasures, happy, prime among his race, virtuous and red-lettered. Kusuma blossom Yoga: Jupiter in the lagna, the Moon in the 7th and the Sun in the 8th from the Moon. One will be a king or equal to a king, protector of kith and kin, founder of a town or a headman, and having an unsullied reputation. Lagnaadhi first Yoga: The benefics, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, in the 6th, 7th and 8th from the lagna. One is a great person, learned in sastras, virtuous, humble, unsophisticated, generous, and happy. High souled, one becomes famous, prosperous, wealthy, longlived, and free from enemies. One will produce many scientific works, have philosophical training, hold a chief command in the army, and enjoy the eminent advantages which fame and fortune give in the world.
