Writing:
This week we have really been working on writing sentences using proper conventions of writing. I have been pushing your children to use uppercase and lowercase letters properly. We have also started practicing using periods and exclamation points! Your children have been trying so hard!!

The Night Before Valentines Day Slugs in Love The Day It Rained Hearts The Ballad of Valentine Rose are Red, Your Feet Stink

This week we worked on rhyming words. We played games and read lots of fun books. We also worked on making special valentines for our family. We used our knowledge about writing letters and filling out envelopes to make them. So be on the look out for something special!

My Sweet Valentines:
Everyday my heart is filled with so much love because I get to spend it with my 21 sweet valentines! I am so lucky to have such wonderful, fun, loving children! Thank you so much for sharing them with me each and every day!!!

Theme:

On Friday to celebrate Valentines Day we will be participating in rotations. The first rotation we will go to will be sight word bingo! Then your sweet chickadees are going to practice probability using candy hearts. We also got to decorate cookies! Then we read about a dogs valentine and made heart dogs! We had lots of fun practicing skills in fun different ways! We then got to have a yummy snack and read all our wonderful Valentines!!! Pictures should be up on the blog by Friday afternoon!
