Faiza has attending An-Nur for Faiza has shown an interest in many years now, and enjoys areas of health interested in ways looking after her sister Ebado. to continue looking after her body Faiza always strives to be a helper, such as cleaning teeth and eating taking responsibility for the healthy. classroom and her peers.

Contribution/Mana Tangata Faiza is very confident. She enjoys participating in larger group activities in which they learn alongside each other while also being proud of her own individual acomplishments.

Communication/Mana Faiza has a well-developed vocabulary with a range of sophisticated and simple sentence structures used frequently throughout the day. Faiza is intelligent, and if not given enough opportunities to verbally communicate will seek teachers attention nonverbally through pulling a sad face/sulking till her turn to share when her beautiful smile returns. Faiza is quickly approaching primary school age. We will therefore focus on her academic school readiness daily with reading, writing and math. We will continue to encourage her self-help skills and independence, working on her nonverbal strategies for attention. Faizas interest in the body will be catered for this term through our large group focus refer to term 2 planning.

Exploration/Mana Aotroa Faiza enjoys making predictions, picking up patterns very quickly. She is quick to include this in her play with peers to add depth. For example when creating a volcano predicting which ingredient will cause what reaction etc.
