Beginning Opening Statement/activity While feeding the infant say (childs name) can you hold your own bottle?

Middle: Have the infant grab their bottle and see if they can hold it and feed themselves. Extensions: Easier- Hold the end of the bottle while they try to hold it Thicker- Have the child hold it all on their own, without your help

End When child is done with bottle, say (childs name) you held the bottle all by yourself!

Follow-up Ideas: Give child objects similar to bottle so they can practice holding them.
