It is clear to me that my Content

Knowledge is the most developed area
within the TPACK model. I am
confident with the material I have
studied and am well versed in
researching any information that I may
lack. History has always been of keen
interest to me and as a result, I am
highly motivated to understand all
aspects of the Social Studies realm.

PEDAGOGY:
Learning how to teach is both, an art
form as well as a science. While I feel
growing sense of assuredness in this
area, it is still in its early stages of
development. I have yet to complete my
IPT or APT, however, I am actively
volunteering as a Study Buddy and have
a natural inclination towards helping
others learn. I also feel that my training
in Special Education has given me many
tool that I cant wait to utilize.
TECHNOLOGY:
Technology is the area that requires the
most development for me. Regardless of
my constant use of technology, it seems that
there is always a new gadget, app or tool
being marketed to the public, especially
teachers, and it can sometimes leave me
feeling overwhelmed. Thankfully, I am a
quick learner and willing to invest the time
necessary to broaden my skills.
THE OVERLAP:
PCK: I am able to connect the knowledge I have to
how it would be best taught.
TCK: I am able to utilize technology to acquire greater
content knowledge (e.g. research topics).
TPK: I need to work on how to best introduce
technology within my scope of teaching.
TPACK: I know I have a lot of Technology, Pedagogy
and Content development ahead of me. It is clear that
some of these skills will naturally come with time and
practice (PCK), and that some (i.e. how to
appropriately integrate technology into the classroom)
will require individual motivation which I thankfully
have!
